CANVEY students won a science and maths competition.
A trio of girls from Castle View School, on Canvey, won the award at the recent Scholars Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths awards.
It was held at Palmers College, Grays, on June 21.
Katie Cooper-McDonald, Billie Bastick and Bobbi Roberts-Patton came away with the award.
Aleks Cox, 26, science teacher at Castle View School, said: “This is wonderful news and one of the reasons I became a teacher.”
