A CHARITY shop manager braved a head shave for a national disability charity.
Lorna Briscoe, 43, from Southend chopped 12-inches of hair off on Saturday June 30 to raise more than £700 for Sense, where she is the shop manager in Broadway, Leigh.
The fundraising event involved a tombola and cake stall, with local hairdresser Lorraine from Ella Connor, tasked with the head shave.
All the hair Lorna lost will be donated to the Little Princess Trust.
Speaking about the chop, Lorna said: “I was really excited to get my head shaved for a good cause.
"Sense are doing great work to support people with complex disabilities.”
