A three-year-old boy has been hit by car - which then drove off.
Police are appealing for information after the incident in Salisbury Avenue, Westcliff, at about 7.15pm on Saturday, July 7.
The driver failed to stop at the scene.
The toddler was taken to hospital and suffered minor cuts to his arm and head.
Investigating officer PC Mark Turner said: “Fortunately his injuries were not serious and he is now recovering at home.
“I am appealing for anyone who saw what happened or has any CCTV or dash cam footage to please get in touch.”
