An outbuilding has caught fire in Southend, causing the A127 to be closed.
The building is near to the Millennium Open Space, off the A127, and firefighters are currently on scene.
Crews reported on arrival that around half of the building, which measures around 15 square metres in total, was alight.
Just before 4pm, the incident commander reported that the fire was surrounded and good progress was being made.
Police are also currently at the scene assisting with traffic control. Please avoid the area.
