Long Riding
A burst water main has left some houses without water.
The main has burst in Long Riding, Basildon.
Essex and Suffolk Water is aware and workmen are currently attempting to fix it.
Water supply is supposed to be back by 9am.
There have been a number of water mains burst across south Essex, caused by the high temperatures affecting the metal pipes and drying out the ground.
Other water pipes have burst in Billericay, Wickford, Leigh and Southend.
