SOUTHEND United manager Chris Powell has made four changes to his starting line-up for tonight’s Carabao Cup clash against Brentford at Roots Hall.
Harry Kyprianou has been recalled at the heart of the back four in place of Michael Turner while Michael Klass starts in midfield with Sam Mantom dropping to the bench.
Further forward, Shawn McCoulsky has been handed his first Shrimpers start while Theo Robinson has also been recalled in attack with Michael Kightly and Tom Hopper dropping out of the team.
Simon Cox has also been selected and will make his 100th appearance for Blues.
Brentford have made 11 changes to their starting line-up and former Shrimpers goalkeeper Daniel Bentley has not been selected in the squad.
