SHE is only seven years old, but Jessica Daugirda has already come do-re-mi-so far on the path to showbiz success.

The multi-talented youngster, of Mistley Side, Basildon, is wowing West End audiences with her portrayal of Gretl in the Sound of Music.

Jessica is at the London Palladium, as the youngest member of the Von Trapp family, alongside Connie Fisher who shot to fame through BBC reality show How do you solve a problem like Maria?

Jessica's mum Karen said: "She loves being in the show. Connie and the other actors are really nice to her."

Andrew Lloyd Webber gave Jessica a good luck T Shirt for her first night.

"Gretl is a really cute part to play, as she is the youngest of the Von Trapp brothers and sisters."

Jessica attends the San Marie Stage School, in Billericay.
