The man was found near the seafront on Chalkwell Avenue
A MAN has died after being found unresponsive in Westcliff near the seafront.
Essex Police were called to the incident near to Chalkwell Avenue this morning.
Tragically, the man was pronounced dead.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We attended Chalkwell Avenue following reports that a man was unresponsive this morning, Wednesday January 6.
"The man, aged in his 60s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"His next have kin have been informed."
