Day trip for doggies

Comments (1)A CLUB for sausage-dog owners held its monthly meeting on Southend seafront.
Dachshunds in London, boasts about 50 members, many of whom enjoyed a walk along Southend seafront with their dogs.
Club member, Emma Moore, 24, who lives on the Woodgrange Estate, Southend, arranged the visit.
She said: "It's hard work travelling to London every month to meet and I really wanted the dogs to enjoy the beach before dogs are banned for the summer.
"I met club members at Southend Victoria Station and nine dogs, plus their owners walked the length of the High Street, with lots of people stopping and staring at us."
