Hair girls pass exams with flying colours

TWO stylists from Strangeways hair salon were among just seven people in the country who received their Master Colour Expert degrees this year from the Wella World Academy in London.

Jude Rizzo and Emma Colby, who work at the salon, in Elm Road, Leigh, won the awards and boss Martyn Holmes paid tribute to them both.

He said: "It's going to benefit all our customers because if people have bad experiences, you've done home colouring and turned someone's hair green, we've got the capability of putting that right for them.

"It's a very very tough course. There's science involved."
