Kitesurfer rescued
A KITESURFER was ferried to safety after getting into difficulties off the Shoebury coast.
The Southend RNLI Lifeboat was called about 6pm yesterday (Thursday) off the shore by Shoebury Common.
The RNLI hovercraft then checked on a 16ft dinghy that was causing concern, but the boat and sailor were found to be ok.
