THE FAMILY of a motorcyclist killed after a horror crash on the A13 have paid a moving tribute to his “warm” and “loving” nature.

Richard Amos, 47, from Benfleet, died from his injuries after crashing on the London-bound carriageway near Fobbing on Monday, June 30.

Pedestrian Daniel Missons, 44, from Dickens Avenue, Tilbury, was also killed at the scene.

Richard, who lived in Karen Close, was driving a blue Honda motorbike when he crashed just after 5pm.

He died at the Royal London Hospital on Friday July 4 surrounded by his family, including mum Olive and wife Jan. He also leaves stepsons Steve and Simon and stepdaughter Emma.

In a joint statement, his family said: “Richard will be remembered as hard-working, warm, loving, happy and ready to help anyone.

“As the baby of the family he will be terribly missed especially by his mum, as he used to visit her regularly in Woodford and do all the household maintenance.”

His funeral will take place at Bowers Gifford Crematorium on Thursday July 24.
