AN ADVENTUROUS therapist is swapping Hadleigh for the mountains of Peru as she aims to raise several thousand pounds for charity.
Rosemary Cunningham, 45, of Beach Road, is planning to trek the famous Inca trail to the lost city of Macchu Pichu to generate funds for Cancer Active, an alternative treatment charity.
Rosemary is also planning to skydive for the first time and is hoping to raise about £3,000.
The sum would secure her place on the trek, where Rosemary believes she will be able to collect even more money for the charity.
Her background in alternative therapy inspired her to support Cancer Active.
Rosemary said: “The charity means a lot to me. Someone very close to me has just been diagnosed with breast cancer, so that is an added motivation.”
Rosemary is now looking for sponsorship for her solo skydive over Diss, Norfolk, on Thursday, October 18.
