SOUTHEND Lions Club are once again doing a good turn for the community.
The Lions have recently been given several unwanted stairlifts and are offering them to needy disabled people in the Southend area.
Lion Allan Guthrie said: “We know many people are unable to afford or obtain a stairlift from other sources and we would be pleased to supply and fit one at no cost, as part of our activities for people in the area.”
Anyone who is interested in the Lions’ offer should contact www.southend lions_stairlifts@hotmail.co.uk and provide a brief description of their needs and a contact number.
