ROCHFORD District Council has been given an award for its fair employment policies towards disabled people.
The council has been given a Disability Symbol with two ticks by Jobcentre Plus. The symbol is awarded to those organisations which make commitments on the recruitment, employment, retention and career development of disabled people.
