Woman cut free from car crash in Canewdon


A YOUNG woman had to be cut free from a car after it overturned.

The accident, involving a red Vauxhall Corsa, took place in Creeksea Ferry Road, Canewdon about 2.50pm today.

Firefighters from Rochford and Hawkwell cut the woman, thought to be in her mid-20s, free from the wreckage.

She was a front-seat passenger in the car and was taken to hospital with spinal injuries.

How can this be a crash!! Obviously the driver was driving like a prat and misjudged a bend or something. Luckily noone was seriously hurt but I would put money on it that the driver was speeding/showing off.Tw*t.Cars don't 'crash' by themselves!!!

Too many idiots speed and take unnecessary risks in this particular area. Wonder if this was the case here? If it was, the driver should be prosecuted. Hope the woman recovers. What a horrible way to learn a lesson. Never get in a car with anyone that drives like an idiot.
