Work of Asian women goes on display at library

A DISPLAY of the work of a women’s group is on at Southend Central Library.
The Essex Asian Women’s Association organises events, meetings and entertainment locally.
Many of the events are open to all cultures.
The group works in the community to raise awareness of issues and offer support to women.
The display started yesterday and runs until Monday, January 11, during usual library opening hours.
