POLICE are appealing for information about an altercation in Southend.
Youths are believed to have threatened a man with a lump of wood following an argument with him in Priory Avenue at about 9pm on Friday (March 12).
Two 14-year-old boys, who live locally, were later arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
They were both released on police bail until April 21.
Anyone with information about the incident should call officers at Leigh police station on 0300 333 4444.
