Teenager denies burgling elderly woman's home

A TEENAGER has denied burgling an elderly woman’s home, three days after she was found dead there.

The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denied breaking into Rosina Waller’s home, on January 4, and stealing a TV, jewellery, documents and a set of candle holders.

Mrs Waller, 88, of Johnstone Road, Thorpe Bay, was found dead at her home on New Year’s Day.

The boy was remanded in custody and will appear at Basildon Crown Court on April 12.
