SOUTHEND lifeboat was called out to help two jet skiers in difficulty.
The RNLI inshore boat was launched from the shore at 11.55am on Sunday and found one of the men clinging to the underside of Barge Pier off the coast of Shoebury.
He was pulled aboard the lifeboat and taken to the shore at Shoebury Common slipway.
The other man had managed to make it to shore.
Both jet skiers were uninjured.
