Burglaries at Westcliff High Schools

BURGLARS walked into both Westcliff High Schools to steal laptops over the half-term holiday.

Police have issued CCTV images of the two boys they believe struck at Westcliff High School for Boys, in Kenilworth Gardens,at about 1.30pm on Wednesday, February 17. Although it was the school holidays the premises were open and teachers were on site. Three laptop computers worth an estimated £1500 were stolen.

Also, at some time between Friday, February 12 and Monday, February 22, burglars have entered neighbouring Westcliff High School for Girls and stolen a further laptop worth an estimated £350.
