FIREFIGHTERS were called to put out a fire in a tumble drier at a Southend home.
The appliance was discovered alight in the property in Seaforth Grove at around 7.33pm tonight, Thursday, March 18.
Fire crews from Southend station used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel to put out the flames before using a fan to ventilate the property.
