A WOMAN was attacked by a stranger who grabbed her by the wrists in the street.
The 24-year-old woman was in Johnstone Road, Thorpe Bay, when the man seized her and threatened to hurt her if she screamed.
The woman struggled and shouted - before the man ran off at about 11am on Wednesday, January 25.
He was white, about 6ft tall and fat. He was aged between 30 and 40 and had messy dark hair and a beard. He wore a dark puffer jacket, dark trousers and black shoes and he smelt of body odour and alcohol.
The victim was left with bruises to her wrists.
