Woman attacked in Southend street

A WOMAN was attacked by a stranger who grabbed her by the wrists in the street.

The 24-year-old woman was in Johnstone Road, Thorpe Bay, when the man seized her and threatened to hurt her if she screamed.

The woman struggled and shouted - before the man ran off at about 11am on Wednesday, January 25.

He was white, about 6ft tall and fat. He was aged between 30 and 40 and had messy dark hair and a beard. He wore a dark puffer jacket, dark trousers and black shoes and he smelt of body odour and alcohol.

The victim was left with bruises to her wrists.

Thank goodness this was reported "relatively" soon after the event. Hope the diisgusting, smelly, fat slob is caught soon and the woman recovers from the trauma.

This is Thorpe Bay, so the police will be all over it, until they get the culprit.!

Johnstone Rd/ Broad Daylight not what you expect in the nicer part of Town.......
I suspect the Overweight Culprit was on his way back from the Southend benefits Office towards his home turf in Shoebury, the Culprit probably only wanted a £1 for a tube of SSS (Super Strong Stella) to see him through the morning and replace the sweat he had worked off walking across Southchurch Park !

Crime seems to be on the rise. Even in leafy Thorpe Bay. Hope they catch the scumbag soon.
