Kitchen floor flooded during burglary

A KITCHEN floor was flooded during a burglary in Westcliff.

After stealing jewellery, a Nintendo Wii console and controllers, totalling more than £1,000 the burglar left a tap running in the kitchen of the home in Holyrood Drive, damaging the floor.

Anyone with information about the burglary which happened between 11am and 5.30pm on April 4 is asked to contact DC Chris Adam at Southend on 101.
