A CALL has gone out for super heroes to help Havens Hospices break a Guinness World Record.
The charity needs 500 people to sign up and head to Southend seafront to be part of an attempt to break the record for most people simultaneously performing the renowned ‘Superman Dance’ by Black Lace.
The event is taking place during the Southend Air Festival at 2pm on Saturday , May 26.
Each ‘Havens Hero’ will need to sport their best Eighties style outfit, which must include two of the following items leggings, leg warmers, cropped t-shirts, bright coloured shorts worn over trousers, shell suits, dungarees, shoulder padded jackets and of course neon clothing.
For rehearsal, a video demonstrating the moves has been made.
