Chinese restaurant prosecuted for stringe of hygiene failings

THE owner of a Chinese restaurant has been fine for a string of food hygiene breaches.

Mr Han Kwan Chua, the owner of The Imperial Chinese Buffet at Great Oaks House in Great Oaks, Basildon, pleaded guilty to nine charges of food hygiene breaches at Basildon Magistrate’s Court.

He was fined £400 for each of the nine charges along with £1,814 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
