Ten Dale Farm protesters accept cautions

TEN protestors at the Dale Farm eviction have accepted cautions for obstructing bailiffs.
A case listed to be heard at Southend Council was adjourned in respect of 13 other people.
Basildon Council mounted the prosecutions after a series of arrested for obstructing bailiffs during last October’s operation.
A council spokesman said: “A number of matters were withdrawn as cautions have been accepted.
With regards to the remaining cases, these have been adjourned in order for the council to reconsider whether these prosecutions are in the public interest.”
