Updated: Mum and son found dead at home in Billericay suffering from gunshot wounds (From Echo)

No point guessing but with report we all read if police not looking elsewhere or for anyone else then it murder then suicide unless someone has a better answer . ????????

maureen was a very lovey lady. would have done anything for any one. her **** of a son was not disabled.but was one very sick f--k. had do be to do that do his very lovey mum. god bless maureen you will be very sadly missed xxxxxx

mark was mentaly ill my nan lives on his road he recently stabbed his neighbour and his dad died about 4 months ago and he actually went into ward 10 for a period of time and obvs wernt coping wth the death of his father armed police have been at his property once befor looking for his brother but he was actually a nice guy jus ill and unable to cope with reality he seeked help and nothing worked for him he has had a terrible time trying to cope with his fathers death and amost other things was going to seriously hurt someone again at some point i blame the goverment for allowing this mentaly ill man out of hospital after he stabbed his neighbour, he needed some one to help him and now him and his mother are dead had anyone elses been there maybe them too its a shame that the system has let the man down wen this could have been avoided

Well let's all blame the police/government. So if this is the case you knew him and knew he had problems and was unstable so you did nothing so therefore your equally to blame. People's parents die every day in this country and around the world it don't drive them to something like this. Waste of 2lifes. I am sure they will both be missed by friends and family

If he had previously committed the offence of stabbing his neighbour, and was let back into the community without due diligence being taken by the relevant authority to monitor the risk or his situation, then yes, point the finger of blame at the authority. If it had been an innocent child killed and not his mother, you would have been singing from a different songbook. As to accusing this neighbour of being as much to blame, that seems rather premature and bigoted given how little we know of the background and actual facts from just this Echo report.

Well I say same to you you don't know the facts of the stabbing. If he was guilty of it you are not let back out. The guy on here is not a neighbour is nan lives along the street, do you no everything about everyone in your street cos I don't. Don't matter if it was a child his mum aunt sister nan every life counts the same.
