Stylish doggie Tinkerbell is mutterly gorgeous

PAMPERED pooch Tinkerbell, who has her own designer wardrobe and even her own chaise longue to relax on, is set for TV super stardom.

Viewers tuning into new “talent show” Top Dog Model, on ITV2 last night, would have seen Tinkerbell trotting around town with her owner Mel Jackson, from Wickford , in a bid to become the UK’s coolest canine.

The programme, fronted by Essex girl Stacey Solomon, fashion model Lilah Parsons and Hollywood dog agent, Addison Witt, is described as a cross between the X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent – but for dogs.

The series kicked off with Maltese, Tinkerbell, and other hopefuls showing off their “talents” to make it through to “paw camp”, where they will be put through their paces in modelling assignments and photo shoots.

The eventual winner will be crowned Top Dog Model, secure modelling contract and other prizes.

Mel, 39, who was given Tinkerbell as a present two-and-half years ago, said: “I can’t say how we got on because the series is ongoing, but we’re thrilled to be part of the show. Tinkerbell is my princess. I take her everywhere with me and she sleeps in my bed.

“I’m a beauty therapist and she even comes to jobs with me. She’s allowed in most places. If I’m going to shops she can’t go in, I try to sneak her in inside my bag.

“We did the Race for Life and before we’d even got past the starting line people were shouting out ‘there’s Tinkerbell’. It’s like she’s already famous in Wickford.”

Having the bow-wow factor is a must for Tinkerbell, who has a glitzy designer wardrobe of Juicy Couture brands, pink bows and “dresses” designed for her in the USA.

She also likes to chill out on her own special leather chaise longue to watch The Only Way is Essex.

Mel admits it’s probably because she doesn’t have her own children that she spoils Tinkerbell so much.

She said: “Some people think I’m a bit crazy but she’s my life.”
