Thugs in sportswear mug man at knifepoint

Three men in distinctive sportswear robbed a young man at knifepoint.
The muggers held up a 24-year-old man from Rayleigh in the Asda car park off Shoebury Road in Shoebury at about 10.30pm on Saturday.
One of the thugs asked the man for a cigarette. As he obliged, one of the other men pushed him against a car while the third man held a knife to his neck and demanded money.
The victim handed over approximately £50 and the three men ran off.
One man was wearing a dark-red Hollister hoodie, Nike jogging bottoms and was aged in his mid-late 20s.
The second man was wearing a black Adidas hooded tracksuit with black Nike trainers and was aged in his late teens.
The third man was wearing a bright-red Adidas hoodie, baby-blue Puma tracksuit bottoms and white Nike Air Force One trainers and was of stocky build and aged in his mid-20s.
Investigating Officer, DC Luke Dangerfield, said: “We firmly believe that someone will be able to recognise the suspects from their quite distinctive clothing.
“The fashion on display would have stood out in that area and those who live with either of three men will certainly recognise the hoodies and tracksuits.”
The police released information about the attack this evening.
Anyone with information should call police on 101.

Chav scum! Sportswear is for sports. Anyone who wears it when they aren't exercising is generally fat (ever noticed the coloration between increasing pounds and increase in items of sports wear being worn?) or of generally poor moral fibre. Or both.

these craven little toerags need to be wearing sportswear so they can run away as fast as possible as soon as they hear the police coming or if they are confronted when on their own when they're never as brave....

The victim must have very good eyesight and memory, particularly as it was dark at the time. Incredible to remember all those details!

Hope he is ok, it must have been a frightening experience. Hope they catch the scumbags.
