Woman and five children left homeless after fire in Grays

A WOMAN and five children have been left homeless after a fire tore through their home.
 

Two fire crews from Grays and one from Orsett were called to tackle the blaze at a three-storey home in Rookwood Close, Grays on Saturday.
Two floors of the building suffered heavy smoke damage following the incident.


Firefighters spent almost 40 minutes extinguishing the fire which broke out at around 4pm.
