DEPUTY Prime Minister Nick Clegg has written to a head teacher praising her summer school.
Mr Clegg sent a letter to Victoria Overy at Chase High School in Westcliff encouraging the school to share its success of its six week school, run thanks to Government funding.
He wrote: “I hope you will share the professional insights you have gained more widely so that your experience can be used to make a further real difference to disadvantaged children’s levels of achievement.”
Mr Clegg also described how he enjoyed the enthusiasm of the children who wrote to him about the things they did. He praised the commitment and expertise of the staff involved
