Firefighters rescue dog, cat and hamster from fire in Grays

THREE beloved pets were saved from a fire at a home in Grays.

Two fire crews from Grays and one from Orsett saved a dog, a cat and a hamster from a blaze in Whitmore Avenue, Stifford Clays after the garage caught alight.

Officers spent almost an hour tackling the fire after being alerted to the incident at around 4:40pm today.

The blaze was extinguished by 5:35pm.

How come mules hardly ever get a mention in the paper ? I think the last one I read about was under arrest at Stansted Airport with a belly full of drug filled condoms.
