Basildon customers benefit from water saving project

A WATER saving scheme in Basildon has won an award for water efficiency.

The H2eco project run by Essex & Suffolk Water won at the Environment Agency and Waterwise UK Water Efficiency Awards 2012.

Thousands of households in the Basildon area were invited to take part in the sixth phase of the H2eco initiative project, that has helped to save more than 3,000 customers water and money.

they dish out free water butts, fit little doodads in yer bog cistern that allows you to do a short flush for urine and a longer flush for faeces. They also fit little sprinkler type doodads on yer taps
