INSPIRE, a special three-day event to encourage the next generation of entrepreneurs, opens in Basildon this week.
Organised by Basildon Council, Inspire takes place at the Wat Tyler Park centre from Thursday until Saturday.
The event is timed to coincide with Global Entrepreneurial Week.
Participants will be able to take part in a range of workshops, and meet potential collaborators, mentors, and investors. Themed days will cover the roles of design, creativity and robotics. Other highlights include a live link to the Medica trade fair in Germany.
Basildon Council leader, councillor Phil Turner, said: “The council is keen to support those with a get- up-and- go attitude, which, in turn, can lead to business growth. This event will also showcase much of the vibrant talent the town has to offer.”
