EVERY business hits a time when it could do with some expert assistance, perhaps to grow, sort out a problem or even to oversee a major overhaul of where it is going.

The problem is quality expertise invariably comes at a price.

However, one local business is set to hit the jackpot - thanks to the Echo and the Laindon-based Unique Financial Solutions Group, which have teamed up to offer free business consultancy assistance for six months .

It will be like having your own business guru and trouble-shooter rolled into one, someone dedicated to taking your business where you want it to be.

UFSG offers a wide range of business growth services including innovative business accountancy services and products as well as business coaching.

Director Stuart Swindell, who has a particular passion for coaching business people, is offering a six-month support package which would normally cost £2,500, to the local business which comes up with the best case for needing his help.

The package will include an initial diagnosis by Stuart of the business's current situation followed by a half-day coaching session each month from him at the business as well as e-mail and telephone support in between the sessions.

Stuart said: "While our background is business accountancy, my particular passion is financial and business coaching, where I can assist people to make the most of their business, both from a personal point of view and a business perspective.

"I'm looking forward to working with a business person who is committed to improving their business, but who is struggling with knowing just how to do it.

"Together, I am sure we can make that dream come true."

l Stuart and Echo features editor Claire Borley will read through the entries and select the company they feel best merits Stuart's services.

The Echo will then follow Stuart's work with the company during the following six months.

If you'd like to be considered for the £2,500 support package write with your reasons, explaining what your company does, where you want your business to be and why you need expert help, together with your annual turnover and number of employees, to Claire Borley, Evening Echo, Newspaper House, Chester Hall Lane, Basildon SS14 3BL or e-mail claire.borley@nqe.com Entries should be submitted by July 31.
