South Woodham Ferrers: Flat fire caused by cooking

Firefighters were called to a kitchen fire.
Two crews were called to a flat in The Cedars, South Woodham Ferrers, just after 5pm today.
The fire had been put out before they arrived but it had left the flat smoke logged.
Crews made the property safe and left shortly before 5.40pm.
