A man has been punched in the head repeatedly following an argument at a rail station.

The incident happened on 8 November at 5.50pm at Laindon station.

There was a verbal confrontation between two men in the booking hall.

The confrontation escalated and one of the men punched the other in the head a number of times.

The man suffered bruising to the head.

The offender is described as white, with a bald head, wearing a dark suit and a white shirt carrying a coat and an iPad.

British Transport Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who was at the station at the time of the incident.
