Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a shop in Westcliff.
Officers want to hear from people after a man armed with a knife entered Savers, in Hamlet Court Road, at around 2.35pm on Saturday, February 3.
The suspect threatened workers and customers before leaving with a three-figure sum of cash.
Two customers and a shop worker chased the suspect who managed to escape. Officers are keen to speak to the two customers who bravely gave chase.
Police arrested a 32-year-old woman from Westcliff on suspicion of conspiracy to rob and a 34-year-old man from Westcliff on suspicion of robbery at around at around 10.45am yesterday. They remain in custody for questioning.
