A man has been left with a number of injuries following a fight in a pub car park.
It took place in the car park of the Half Moon pub in High Street, Rayleigh, at 11.30pm on Saturday, January 27.
One of the men, aged 50, suffered a broken nose, swelling and bruising to his left eye, cuts inside his mouth and bruising to his ribs.
A 55-year-old man from Leigh-on-Sea was voluntarily interviewed on suspicion of assault.
Enquiries are ongoing.
Investigating officer Pc Alfie Mcphilimey said: “This happened on a busy Saturday night in the pub car park it’s possible there were people in the area that evening who saw what happened or the circumstances leading up to the incident.”
