A man has been arrested after a number of reports of a man indecently exposing himself in the past week.
The man, 19, from Rayleigh was arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency.
The announcement of the man's arrest came from Essex Police at around 1.30pm today (Saturday March 3).
A police spokesman, said: "A 19 year old male from Rayleigh has been arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency following several reports over the last week.
"He is currently in custody being questioned."
Essex Police have urged any victims of similar incidents to dial 101 and report it.
A police spokesman added: "If you have been a victim of outraging public decency in the Rayleigh district and have not yet reported it to police, or have any information that may assist us, please call the Community Policing Team on 101 ext 490152."
