Verina Weaver (Aug 27) demonstrates her flair for the irrelevant. Of course visitors still enjoy a day in Southend.
But how many of our town’s attractions have been lost? People who write to the Echo are not knocking Southend, they are complaining about years of mismanagement, the treasures knocked down and the monstrosities thrown up by Ms Weaver’s friends with no proper consultation.
I believe the people of Southend should take every opportunity to make their views known, get angry and complain more!
