Tory cuts to the police are taking their toll on Rochford.
The closure of the police station has left angry residents travelling to Rayleigh or Southend to track down a police officer.
Essex police numbers have been slashed by 1,000, many of those were crucial, frontline officers.
Rochford residents have reported a worrying increase in burglaries and low level antisocial behaviour.
Rising unemployment will only make the problem worse.
People must feel safe walking the streets and in their homes.
The excellent job the police do is only being made harder by Tory cuts.
