Opposition to drink times
PLANS to extend the drinking hours outside a Leigh restaurant have been opposed by the town council.
Bosses at Zabrano's, in Leigh Road, Leigh, want to remove the restriction on serving alcohol outside after 9pm.
They also want to play live music inside between Sundays and Thursdays until midnight and on Saturdays until 1am the following day.
Southend Council will make the decision about the proposals.
