Man in his 40s taken to Southend Hospital for treatment after crash in Marine Parade

A MAN received a head injury after he was hit by a car in Southend.

The man was taken to hospital after he was struck at 12.35am at the junction with Southchurch Avenue and Marine Parade on Wednesday, October 24.

Gary Sanderson, East of England Ambulance Service spokesman, said: “The man who we believe to be in his 40s was taken to Southend Hospital for further care, he received a head wound.”
