Pub attack leaves man with broken ribs

A MAN was left nursing broken ribs after he was attacked at a pub.

The 26-year-old had been at the Parsons Barns, in Frobisher Way, when he was pushed onto a table causing andominal injuries.

It happened at about 11.30pm on Saturday after a disturbance vroke out between about a dozen people.

The victim was taken to Southend Hospital by paramedics where was treated for his broken ribs.

Police want to speak to any witnesses. Anyone with information in connection with this assault is urged to contact detectives at Southend police station on 101.

OK so I accept that the V key is next to the B key on a QWERTY keyboard and that the N key is on the other side of the N key and these are 'only' typographical errors but it doesn't excuse the lack of editorial/proofreade
r involvement in the 'publication' of these articles.

It also doesn't reflect well on the 'professionalism' and editorial standards of the newspaper and it's reporting staff.

P.S.Hope the bloke isn't feeling too rough - have bust a few ribs in my time and it's no fun.
