Child's stolen wheelchair recovered

A WHEELCHAIR stolen from an 11-year-old girl has been recovered following a media appeal.

The wheelchair was taken from a coach at  Garon Park, Southend, Saturday, October 27.

But the following day a dog walker found it abandoned in the recreation area.

They immediately brought it to Southend police station where officers took receipt of it. It will now be forensically examined.

No report of the wheelchair having been damaged so let's hope it's back where it belongs as soon as possible. A shame some people seem to be unable to switch on what little brain they have before letting their long fingers get the better of them.

a Dog walker found it...something i often think about when i see the term dog walker, don't dogs walk themselves, how does a dog walker actually help the dog walk, are there dogs that can't walk themselves without someone walking for them.., anyone know about this sort of thing..?

and good news about the chair, just some young idiots.
