Armed robber strikes at Canvey off licence

A ROBBER held up a Canvey off licence at knife-point last night.
The crook struck at Bargain Booze, in Long Road, at about 9.35pm.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with attempted robbery and possessing a kitchen knife in a public place and is currently detained in police custody to appear at Basildon Youth Court tomorrow, Friday November 16.
