Mr Alston said that criminals need to be caught and face swift and sure justice. Getting them caught is only the first step, what are you going to do when the judges just tell the criminals not to do it again and send then home.

I am not moaning if this three politicians can actually get things going and done then 'great'

If they are just going to talk which we know at least one is an expert at **** and nothing gets done then that is 'not great'

However they must firstly start by reversing their party's decision to cut the Essex Police budget by 20 % only an idiot full of cr p would accept a cut of that amount, and only then will I begin to believe they put their constituents first and not their party's policy of a cut of that magnitude.

I wish them luck and hope they can and do make a difference.

Forgot to say I hope upon hope that a policy of taking Police Officers from other areas is not considered the long term solution because it is not all it does is create problems in the areas they are taken from and why should those areas which have a nice crime free situation have to pay more and receive less police coverage.

Even if you think that, initially it may be through the elected politicians why no invite for the leader of the majority Councillors in Councillor Blackwell, were all politicians invited Conservatives and why use a photo taken two weeks ago when electioneering and clearly implying it was taken the day he started.
It does not auger well if a Police Commissioner who has signed a declaration of being non political bias, supposed to consult with residents first meeting has only Conservatives present apart from of course the police.

I should have made clear, but I think obvious my emails were on the crime wave on Canvey.

as you say opposition leader was not invited, they obviously invited people who can do and not those who will moan what ever happens, as history proves.

You just don't seem to grasp it do you!

The PCC. Election was all about political control and if you are not a party member or at a minimum vote conservative you are not in the future planning, why on earth invite DB.
DB was a former labour councillor (that's one reason)
DB is not a Tory party member (that two reasons)
DB is not know to vote Conservative (that's three reasons)

Surely that must help your understanding of Political control.

The next Chief Constable of Essex will be Mrs Thatchers nephew with the added advantage he has no idea what policing is about and don't care, that makes him suitable for party control.
