Football fixtures cancelled in Rochford district

FOOTBALL games on pitches owned by Rochford District Council this weekend have been cancelled.
A spokesman for the authority posted a message on Twitter, announcing all games would be called off because of waterlogged pitches.
The message said: "Football fixtures on Rochford District Council pitches cancelled Sat/Sun due to waterlogged ground & forecast of more bad weather."
